Newsletter Special Issue – Support ELE!

Dear Reader,

as already mentioned in previous ELT newsletters, we need your support!

In November 2022, our Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) towards Digital Language Equality by 2030 in Europe was presented at a very successful STOA Workshop in the European Parliament in Brussels. As part of our ongoing efforts to boost the visibility of our work, we are now bringing the SRIA to the attention of additional stakeholders like yourself, who we think can contribute to promoting Digital Language Equality in Europe with us. Our main goal is to establish a large-scale, long-term funding programme towards digital language equality.

We would like to ask you to endorse the ELE Strategic Agenda, Roadmap and overall recommendations, so that we can list you as a supporter on the ELE website. You can do so online, in seconds, with a few simple clicks:

If you have a few more minutes to spare, we would also encourage you to provide us with additional feedback on the ELE recommendations, so that we can take your views on board going forward. Please feel free to share this email with colleagues and contacts who would also be interested in showing their support to the ELE SRIA, with a view to promoting Digital Language Equality in Europe.

We have our next high-level meeting with the European Commission in March. In this meeting it would be fantastic if we could present a very high number of supporters to the Commissioner so please support our plans and please help spread the word.

Many thanks for your support, and feel free to contact us if you’d like to know more about the ELE initiative and discuss other ways of becoming involved.

Best wishes,

Georg Rehm
